Please read all of this information thoroughly before booking your trip. 

ITALY: Abruzzo, Puglia & Matera - March 2025

PAYMENT TERMS

DEPOSIT : To secure your spot on this tour, a 1,049€ deposit is required. This deposit will be refundable for up to 10 days after booking. (See currency converter HERE.)

BALANCE : The remainder of the tour cost will be due 60 days before the start date of the tour. Our tour operator will be in touch with payment details. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  •  Our peace of mind policy ensures that your deposit is refundable for 10 days. After 10 days, this deposit becomes non-refundable.

  • If you cancel up to 60 days prior to Day 1 of the tour, you will receive a 50% refund of the balance paid (total tour cost - the deposit).

  • The tour is non-refundable if canceled within 60 days of Day 1 of the tour.

  • All deposit and balance refunds will be returned via the original payment method, minus a 3% transaction fee. It may take up to 10 business days from the date of request for the refund to be applied.

  • If a tour is canceled because we did not meet the minimum number of travelers, or for reason beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of the tour cost.

FLIGHTS & TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Arrival Airport : Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

Departure Airport : Bari International Airport-Karol Wojtyla (BRI)

Pick up will be 12:30 PM on March 30th. Drop off is no earlier than 1 PM on April 10th.

Please plan accordingly.

  • IMPORTANT: Do not book your flights until we can confirm this departure. We need to meet the minimum number of participants required for this trip (8) before we can confirm -  we’ll let you know ASAP! 

  • It is your responsibility to book flights to/from the destination, as well as any other travel outside of the tour start date and end date.

  • If you’d like to arrive early, stay late or extend your trip in the region, our trusted travel partners will be happy to offer suggestions and assist in making arrangements. Let us know and we’ll connect you!

  • We suggest to begin your flight search on a site like KAYAK.com to familiarize yourself with flight times and costs, and set alerts to track prices. When you’re ready, we strongly encourage to book your flights directly with the to ensure the best customer service and booking assistance.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We recommend choosing a policy with a “cancel for any reason” clause - always better safe than sorry. Click HERE for a few recommended travel insurance companies.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS 

IMPORTANT - In small group travel it’s important to remember that one person’s health and mobility restrictions have the power to impact us all. If you are unsure if this trip is suitable for you, please discuss it with us BEFORE booking. You may also wish to consult your healthcare provider.By booking a trip with The Women’s Travel Tribe, you are acknowledging that you have no known physical or mental conditions that may create hazards or major inconvenience for yourself or others. DIETARY CONSIDERATIONS

If you have restrictive dietary requirements, please reach out BEFORE booking to confirm our ability to accommodate your needs on this tour. While we can guarantee a fantastic experience, we cannot guarantee a destination’s ability to provide nourishment to satisfy every diet.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES 

We work hard to create unique itineraries for each experience. You are under no obligation to participate in all scheduled activities on the itinerary, so long as your choices do not affect group activities, transportation or schedule. 

While you’re free to explore other activities outside of those that we’ve curated, you agree The Women’s Travel Tribe is not responsible for these activities - we make no representation about the safety or quality of the activities or operators.  

LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

The Women’s Travel Tribe and travel partners shall not be liable for the following: 

  • Expenses (transportation, meals, hotels) not included in the tour but necessary to reach the meeting point or to leave the arranged end point of the tour.

  • Any damages, expenses or inconveniences caused by airline late departures or schedule changes. 

  • Loss or damage to baggage or personal belongings outside of the tour dates.

  • Necessary itinerary changes due to circumstances outside the control of the organizers. 

  • Damage or injury to belongings or participants as a result of the physical activity performed during the trip, the consumption of alcohol, breakage of equipment and materials or for any other reason which, within the limits of professional diligence, could not have been foreseen or resolved. 

COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS 

We value your feedback and we want to make sure we provide a positive, safe trip for you and your fellow travelers. We will work hard to address any issues that arise before, during and after a trip.

If you wish to make a claim or submit a complaint upon the conclusion of a trip, you agree to do so via email to info@thewomenstraveltribe.com within 30 days of the trips completion. Any and all supporting documentation to the claim or complaint must accompany the email. Only claims or complaints received by The Women’s Travel Tribe within this timeframe will be considered.

PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE

Please be aware that the tour operator, as well as your fellow travelers, will be taking photos and videos during this trip. If shared with The Women’s Travel Tribe, we will have rights to use photographs and videos in media material produced, used or contracted by The Women’s Travel Tribe. To ensure the privacy of individuals, images and videos will not identify full names or personal information. If you do not wish to have your image recorded or used for marketing purposes, it is your responsibility to make these wishes known to the photographer(s) and other group members.
